EVA copolymer
Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers are used in extrusion film processes for applications including packaging, surface protection and greenhouse covers, and photovoltaic cell encapsulation. EVA copolymers are used in molded bottle caps and closures, footwear and automotive interiors. They are the base polymers in many adhesive resin formulations and wire and cable compounds. For hot melt adhesives needed to hold pages and covers together in bookbinding applications, use low to medium MI and high VA grades to maximize cohesive strength and flexibility.
advantage
Low seal initiation temperature, high hot tack, very good impact strength and excellent optical properties, suitable for extrusion film process,
High transparency of photovoltaic cell encapsulation
